MOLECULAR CHARACTERIZATION
rh Jagged1 / JAG1 is fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, and has a calculated MW of 112.3 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Gln 34. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 160-180 kDa in SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation.
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY
The activity was determined by the dose- dependent induction of IL-6 secretion from NHDF Adult fibroblasts. The ED50<10ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of >1X10e5 Unit/mg
PURITY
>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
ENDOTOXIN
Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the rh IL17F by the LAL method.
