HumanKine® FGFbasic is expressed in engineered human cells. FGFbasic is a heparin-binding growth factor and a critical growth factor for human embryonic stem cells to remain in an undifferentiated state during the cell culture. It's function plays an important role in the regulation of cell survival, cell division, angiogenesis, cell differentiation and cell migration. FGFbasic is consisted of 154 amino acids and a 17 kDa, nonglycosylated monomer.
