Recombinant Human IL-2 /Interleukin-2 Protein (rh IL2) Ala 21 - Thr 153 (Accession # P60568) was produced in E.coli cells at ACROBiosystems.
MOLECULAR CHARACTERIZATION
rh IL7 contains no "tag", and has a calculated MW of 17 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Asp 26. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 24 kDa and 26 kDa in SDS-PAGE due to different glycosylation.
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using CTLL-2 mouse cytotoxic T cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.04-0.3 ng/mL.
PURITY
>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
ENDOTOXIN
Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the rh IL2 by the LAL method.
